- Identity data used to verify a taxpayer before filing or before handling IRS-facing workflows.
- Transcript packages, notice data, payment records, and authorization artifacts when you direct us to retrieve or process them.
- Audit records showing who performed sensitive actions, when they occurred, and which account or tenant they affected.
2. How Tax Data Enters the Platform
- Directly from you through uploads, form entry, messages, or support interactions.
- From professionals or staff working within your tenant or with delegated access.
- From payment, identity, filing, or transcript providers when the related workflow is enabled and you have completed required consent and authorization steps.
3. How We Use Tax Data
- Prepare, review, file, monitor, and support tax workflows you request.
- Reconcile taxpayer data, identify discrepancies, calculate liabilities, and maintain compliance timelines.
- Produce audit trails, account history, and service records required for support, security, and compliance operations.
4. Access Controls
- Tax data is intended to remain tenant-scoped and role-restricted.
- Sensitive actions are expected to be authenticated, authorized, and logged.
- Access may be limited when onboarding, legal consent, or authorization prerequisites are incomplete.
5. Storage and Retention
- Tax data is retained for service delivery, security review, dispute resolution, and legal or tax recordkeeping obligations.
- Certain transcript, authorization, and audit records may remain on file after a workspace or subscription ends if we are required to preserve them.
