Engagement & Service Authorization

This Engagement & Service Authorization governs consultations, advisory work, and service engagements initiated through the ProTaxAdvisorsFL / Protaxbolt platform operated by GD Management & Services LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

1. Scope of Services

• Services may include consultations, tax and business advisory, bookkeeping, planning, or related deliverables described at booking or in an order form.
• Unless expressly stated, Services are not legal representation, audit assurance, or investment advice.
• Outputs depend on the accuracy and completeness of the information you provide.

2. Your Responsibilities

• Provide timely, accurate information and documents needed to perform the Services.
• Review deliverables and promptly notify us of questions or discrepancies.
• Maintain required records for tax, regulatory, and compliance purposes.

3. Fees, Billing, and Cancellations

• Fees and payment timing are disclosed at booking or in the applicable order. Payment is subject to the Billing & Payment Terms.
• Consultation holds or deposits may be required to secure time slots; missed or late payments may result in cancellation.
• Reschedules and cancellations should be requested as early as possible. Fees may apply for late cancellations or no-shows where permitted by law.

4. Reliance and Limitations

• We rely on the data you provide and do not independently audit or verify it unless expressly agreed.
• Estimates, calculators, and scenario planning are for informational purposes; they may change based on tax law updates or additional facts.
• You remain responsible for your tax filings, elections, and compliance actions unless we have a separate written engagement letter stating otherwise.

5. Confidentiality and Data Use

• We will protect non-public information you share in accordance with our Privacy Policy, Security statement, and applicable professional standards.
• You authorize us to use the data you provide to deliver the Services and to store deliverables in your account. Confidential information will not be shared with third parties except as needed to deliver the Services, comply with law, or with your consent.

6. Conflicts and Independence

• If we identify a conflict of interest or independence issue, we may decline or withdraw from an engagement and, where appropriate, help you transition to another provider.

7. Disclaimers and Liability

• Services are provided as outlined in the Terms of Service and subject to the limitations of liability and indemnities described there.
• We are not liable for penalties, interest, or losses arising from incomplete, inaccurate, or untimely information you provide, or for decisions you make without implementing agreed recommendations.

8. Termination

• Either party may terminate an engagement if the other materially breaches these terms or an applicable order and does not cure within a reasonable time.
• Upon termination, you remain responsible for amounts due for Services performed and for safeguarding your records and deliverables.
